Founder and CEO  of Great British Walk of Fame Ltd

British born international composer, record producer and entrepreneur David Courtney has worked with some of the music industries legendary names including:

Roger Daltrey - David Gilmour - Jimmy Page - Eric Clapton - Sir Paul McCartney 

Adam Faith - Ritchie Blackmore - Gene Pitney - Sir Tim Rice to name but a few

 

David Courtney was also the man behind the success of Leo Sayer and co-wrote many of his international hits including ‘The Show Must Go On’ ‘One man band’ ‘Long tall glasses’ (I can dance), ‘Giving it all away’ the hit single from Roger Daltrey’s debut solo album ‘Daltrey’ and many other works

 

During his career in music he has been responsible for in excess of 35 million record sales world – wide,  numerous entrees in various "Rock Music Encyclopedias".  Platinum, Gold and Silver Disc Awards representing the millions of records sold worldwide. ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers) awards and a Grammy nomination

 

THE WALK OF FAME

David Courtney is the founder and CEO of Walk of Fame Ltd the trade mark owners of the Walk of Fame cultural attractions in the UK which follow in the tradition of its famous Hollywood predecessor. The first of which was established in 2002 followed in 2010 with the Bristol Walk of Fame and in 2016 the world’s first Football Walk of Fame in a joint venture with The National Football Museum in Manchester England and licensed the Music Walk of Fame’ in Camden London a living, breathing cultural monument to recognise the contribution of global music icons and influencers.
